I know how much it will hurt an I think this time I might ask for sedative This doctor is very good but thinks you get a better result if the victim is wide awake...... last time it was 5-6 injections into the nerves and bone and its painful :shock: xx

I've only got time for a quick cuppa. Up early this morning to catch a bus from here to town, then from town up to hospital for my bloods. Week late due to Crimbo! Hi Jan OK?????
Then, in half hour, I have to go and catch same route bus to go in other direction to Chiropractioner.

Trisha. I really feel sorry for you, you're going through so much at the moment and you still remain cheerful. I'd keep you company if I could but chasing all over the place today.

Travelled over to Bedford last night for Dinner with some friends (had a lovely time) and was back home about 1 a.m. Dead on my feet. We were driving in blizzards. scary stuff it was. all gone this morning.

My OH has had to take dil to Leics today. Royal Infirmary for her fortnightly appt with Bone Marrow and Bloods. which is why I am on my own. It's nice on my own actually. Makes a change from OH telling you what to do all the time.

Well, here we go. I shall be glad to get back so that I can lay back in my recliner and have a nap.

I need a bucket of energy, a jar of merriment and a large builders. A huge bowl of mushroom soup and a couple of buttered rolls wouldn't go amiss either. With painkillers on the side.

Think I might take to my bed and sleep until 2010................but I'm all right really, just tired.

Train journey home yesterday was a bit grim, but I had a lovely Christmas with the family. Wasn't able to log on much as the nieces using the computer to revise for exams poor girls. Missed you all and am trying to catch up on the goss now.
Toni glad Scotland was good, I've never tried Haggis is it good?
Ange. Glad your Christmas day went well with the family, hope it is not too quiet for you now. I know that will be my problem here.

Wonky, hope you are recovering from your busy Christmas travelling etc. the snow quickly disappeared in Tunbridge Wells but got back to Yorkshire yesterday to find it still here and soooo cold again. I gather we may still be due some more. I've had enough of it now, please go away snow.

Hi Rehab. I was going to get our surgery to do the bloodtests, but they are a hopeless lot(nice people though) at doing blood tests. Twice I have had me tests booked (and as you know they have to be done same time, fortnightly, or monthly in my case) and they have rung to cancel and put it back a few days sometimes a week.
OH has to get the car out and take me to the surgery, whereas if I go to the Hospital, I catch a bus outside the house to town, change to another bus to the hospital. and then back to town afterwards. It gives me a chance to get the things I need in town. And it's free. Think of the planet :idea: :idea: shouldn't we be sailing by now 8) 8)
Toni - have you bought some haggis back for Burns Night 26th Jan?
I just love haggis. it's great with mashed pots and nips.
Ange - I bet you are missing the family. Are you doing anything over New year? If not, better come on the cruise 8)
Trish how about warming up those bones on the cruise too.
Did you have to have injections. Oh poor you. I've just got back from Chiro and she really worked on my painful hip she worried about my back Lots of wear and tear (OA) Got to see her again Friday and Monday.

It's like Chris said, we need to spoil ourselve and put us first. Get some rest.

no snow but had to wait 20min for bus back from hospital so frozen just had drink of hot chocolate but hands and feet still cold

You tell them doctors, you need some sedation. Some is better than none, I will sit right next to you.

We will think of all nice things to keep your mind off it. Just think of how better you will be after it is done.
