Anyone I've missed, I'm sorry.
I have just about come to from the do last night. Got to bed about 3 a.m. Did in style. Still can't believe it is 10 years since I saw the millenium in Cyprus. Since I have married my OH 13 years ago, my life has been very tranquil compared to the previous 21 years,
add the last few months since I have found all of you, really put the icing on the cake. You have all helped me through a very difficult period of my life as I have come to terms with my probs. Now, I just count it as one of my friends, in a mood one day and quiet and responsive the next. I am now praying that the chiro will help me cope better.
And so, a very very Happy Beginning to the next decade. 2010
And now, I shall have some porridge, try and settle my tummy.
(((((((((((((())))))))))))))))))))))))) to everyone Joy0 -
Glorious day today, still very cold but sunny. Off out for lunch with friends, so will just have a coffee for now, and a little read by the fire
If my fellow book lover Deb - Debatat - is looking in, I often think of you, and hope you are well........Ange.0 -

pixyandfaries wrote:morning guys ,well what a beautifull start to 2010 .tiz fweeeezing though aint it !
dose anyone know what we a calling this decade ??? :?
we have got to tell the family today that we can not afford the big family holiday we had booked up for this sept , theres now way it can happen ,i feel like a right kill joy and i know there going to be so cross
know how you feel. You could always look into house sitting. When someone goes back to their place in the sun, you could go and look after their house. I have heard of it being done. Don't worry, you never know, it may happen. We could lend you a tent
I so want to organise a big 70th for OH. All the cousins live to the east ofthe country, so I shall write to them an dsee what we can do. If they organise something, will my side of family be able to afford to come. going to take some thought.

Afternoon all
Happy New Year to those I didn't bump into last night. Hope it brings you all that you wish for.
Am starting off with my usual cuppa and some cheese on toast today I think.
Ange hope you have a good lunch out. Im reading the Alan Davies biog I got at Christmas I just love him on QI.
Val glad you are back with no computer probs. Fingers crossed for all of you on that score, and hope we get Cris back soon too. Rest up Cris.
Annie and Joy hope you are resting up after your late nights/early morning. I do late nights but am not so good at the morning bit!!
Jan sorry the holiday plans being stalled. Am sure the family will understand. I'm waiting for news of the buba? Do hope your daughter keeping ok and not too uncomfortable. When she due?
More snow here so I am not budging anywhere today.
Catch you all later

I dunno about lucky, Jan - my first one was 3 stone all round my middle, not much baby, but a lot of fluid. My arms and legs were like sticks and according to the father, I looked like a barrel on matchsticks..............easy birth, though, she just floated out! But for the last month I couldn't sit, stand or lay down comfortably (bit like arther, really).
Annie0 -
HI all,
Happy New Year ..... here's hoping that 2010 is a hell of a lot better than 2009 was.
not sure what I fancy today - so will just have a coffee until I can think of food. Finished the mince pies today and I can honestly say I am glad ... had enough of them now
Hope you are all not suffering for your celebrations last night?
We had a lie in today so my meds are all over the place, but it was good not to have set the alarm. Even littlelegs wanted a lie in .... until the phone woke us all up
hope that you all keep warm and well.
hugs to all

Hi everyone.
I think I need some cotton wool round me at the moment. Just got back from chiro. Oh thanks Jan, need this cuppa.
I asked her for her prognosis after these 4 sessions. She said it was good. I will be very mobile after next week. I know I have more energy so that's good.
OH is just getting some Fish and Chips so will eat at home tonight.
Well Jan, hope I win the Euro Lottery tonight, then we shall both go on a real cruise, and your family aswell, with Sue, Trisha, Annie and Delboy. Oh why don't we buy the cruise liner

Any chance of a flask of builders to take up with me? I'm thinking of having a duvet 24 hours (48 if necessary) if it poxy snows again! I could take up some Cornish pasties and some ham-and-pickle sarnies, too.
Not to mention scones, jam and cream..........

be easyer to bring ya bed down annie !! need more tea my last went cold coz im trying to stop laffin at us all tonight
Mmmmm, not a bad idea, as long as they leave the heating on and a nightlight somewhere so that Del doesn't wake me in the morning. I am going out though tomorrow, read somewhere that leg-warmers are back in fashion, going to get some bright red ones, think it'll stop my knees screaming?
Annie0 -
Hi all
It's a bit busy out there, I can't keep up with you all!! :?
Need a quiet cuppa for a minute I think.
Ah that's better.
Annie, I've had a bit of a duvet day myself as too cold to go anywhere. Hope the late night revellers are all rested up now, Trish, Ange, Debs, Val, Jan, Joan Barbara, hope I haven't missed anyone, was good to have your company on the cruise.
Wonky Glad you had a rest in this morning, hope you are taking care after all your dashing about over Christmas, am sending you and littlelegs a hug with New Year wishes.
Joy, fish and chips sounds good to me, why am I always hungry at this time of night? Could just eat some now!! Glad the chiro, seems to be helping.
No Joan for her tea today? Hope you ok Joan and maybe just had a day out somewhere. Happy New Year to you and Sue.
Val and Ange, glad you catching up on some reading, me too as got some more books for Christmas, just finished The Gift by Cecelia Ahern. A very good lesson to learn there.
Cris hope you resting up and manage to pop in now and then. So glad the deed is done now, and hope you will soon be back with us and in less pain. Sending hugs your way.
Will leave the breakfast stuff ready for the early birds and the kettle is on for the latecomers.
Chris (aka Zena, well just for tonight )0 -
pixyandfaries wrote:hi wonky ,its so nice to lay in now and again , how are you feeling, not to sore i hope xxx
not feeling too bad thanks - but not had the easiest of fortnights .... family stuff you know? ... trying to sort all that out in my head is tough. But I'll get there.
More snow here earlier ..... but it didn't really lay so hopefully it will not be white when we get up in the morning (setting alarm this time ) hope it isn't too cold tonight though - heating is playing up & looks like we need to ring BG tomorrow    good job we have a service contract - phew can't afford a big bill if something needs replacing.
how are you? is your dog ok? they don't know how to reward us for our care of them do they   although I am sure you are being given the 'I''m not well and I need a lot of love' look all the time Littlelegs is currently trying to persuade us that we forgot to feed her tonight  but she is not going to win that one!
I nearly forgot .... if cafe is still here and not moved to the cruise then I'll have a cuppa before bed & maybe a mince pie - 6 hours without one - got withdrawal symptoms
hugs
