I have a large chocci while I'm here, anyone else want something?
Where has Val gone today, did she have to work?
Cris

My arms and legs were like sticks and according to the father, I looked like a barrel on matchsticks..............easy birth, though, she just floated out! But for the last month I couldn't sit, stand or lay down comfortably (bit like arther, really).
Annie
My first I was in labour, started early about 4am on the Monday, he was born on Wed 6.30 am. Funny, he always gets up 6.30am even now although he is on holiday.
My second was quick he was born 5am he was an early riser too.
Funny kids though in a very nice way.

I'm waiting for piccy, so I'm having another glass of wine, well that's my excuse anyway. Cheers, for being such a nice bunch of mates.
It don't matter what we say, we all stay friends, that's what I like. We all understand where we are all coming from.
Cheers, here's to a good one still. I could not stand another year like I've had.0 -
I'll put the low burner for the early birds.
Best keep the fire on all night, it's cold. I've bought in a king size duvet, you can all get warm when you come in.
There's soup ready for those who need it.
right quick tidy up.

Good Morning All!!!!!!!
Oops!
Sorry - who is that asleep under the duvet???
I will go and clean up quietly in the kitchen......

Mornin' all!
Somebody woke me at stupid o'clock crashing about in the kitchen.
Never mind, it's a beautiful day to look at, if you go outside you freeze.............I'll have a large builders and a huge plate of porridge with cream before I venture out.
We had a sprinkling of snow overnight, that's partly why it looks so pretty out there.
Feel tickety-boo and a bit this morning, wasn't feeling so good yesterday.
Off to get my leg-warmers now..................
Annie0 -
Hi all
Oh for a hot chocolate. Can't have milk though. cupa tea instead.
Looks like more snow on the way. Here in Kettering, will happen about 3, in Market Harborough most of the day. We are off there to take a gazebo back to Focus. They have conned us good and proper. We saw the large gazebo before cHRIStmas part of a display. We asked if they would sell it to us. For my art exhibition
When OH pick it up and then checked it over, found two huge rips in it and some poles missing. He paid £25 for it. It normally retails about £70.
Now we have to go out into the cold. Nevermind. grandchildren live in Market Harborough. Paul answers the phone these days. He sounds so grown up when he answers. He knows my voice immediately. Nana Joy They are so sweet at 3.
Jan. been looking at pics ofyour dog. Bless.
Trisha. How are those nails. give them time.
Annie. Hope your well. Keep warm
I've now got to brave the elements. My neck is killing me today
Hip very sore. Will just about have recovered when we see chiro again. but it seems to be doing the trick.
Have a good day everyone see you tonight

Afternoon all
Just nipping in here for a warm and a brew.
Will have some of that soup Trish left too, I am sick of being so cold. The snow is just not going anywhere here and I'm getting well fed up with it now.
Toni, you were up early doing the cleaning, hope you are having a break now.
Annie get me some leg warmers while you are there please, thank goodness for laptops and duvets is all I can say at the mo. Am ignoring the ironing and jobs as you generally have to stand up and move about a bit to do them!
Hope the neck a bit better now Joy and the elements aren't too cruel out there.
Jan I see you and rehab have been having fun this morning I'm guessing you are bored again!
Take care all, keep warm. I'll leave the soup on a low light.

Hello everyone. This is my first visit to the cafe. I suppose it is a bit early for G & T so I will have a nice hot cup of Darjeeling with no milk or sugar. I would love a cream cake too, but I have to watch my weight now that I have had to retire from serious triathlon competition.
Happy New Year everyone.

One cuppa coming up, hey don't worry about calories in here. It is the most scrummy non-fattening food around.

Good Morning Val
Gosh, you must be feeling good today. Pity and didn't get here early enough to help you.
It looks very good.
Better come and do my kitchen at home Was worried a bit about the water supply. very cloudy and wouldn't settle. Rang Anglia Water. Appears to be some air in the system and they are trying to flush something out. That was their messaging machine. Don't understand it mind. They said it was 'safe'. It will take a bit longer to clear. Trouble is, after you have made a cup of tea, there is a lot of horrible stuff stuck to the side of the cup. Think I shall get some bottles of water today,
So I've come in for a cup of safe builders. Is it safe?
