    After vist to my son and his family yesterday, what an expense he has. Ash and Ryan go back Monday. Had to take boys out to get new uniforms yesterday. Shoes, trousers etc. With 3 boys she wants a girl next desparately.

    I think I will have some porridge myself this morning. I make mine with water usually, but think I will make it with my soya milk today. Don't like that water we are getting at the mo.
    Then lots of honey for me :D

    Mornin,

    Just dropping in pasties, some white stew, some cream and eggs. He k050.gif helped me carry the eggs so maybe not as many as we started with :wink: She f034.gif is in charge of the bickies....... oh no she seems to have lost them on the way in :oops:

    Hope everyone is ok? Hey its my last day of enforced idleness :D might feel a bit odd but its def helped.

    Hey the first sale of 2010 was cancelled but you know a big part of me is glad for that cus its just too cold out there :wink:

    Well, thats the decs down.
    Worn us out. Coffee and a bit of Christmas Cake I think. Looks like that is going to last until Easter.

    Or chuck it to the birds.

    Hurt the base of my spine again. Getting up an down off chairs has undone the work of the chiro. she will not be pleased nor my purse.

    not stared decs at home was going to do them this after but oh watching football lol so might do them tomorrow . just had steak eggs and chips just felt like something different fed up with most food. will have cup earl grey no milk or sugar thanks will sit and listen to the gosip as do not like football lol

    Steak and kidney pie for me please, with mash and gravy. Yum.
    Hope Toni and Jan manage to find those school uniforms ready for the return to school runs. Poor little mites will find it a bit hard I am sure.

    Cris, hope you are feeling a bit better. I'm sorry but glad the sale was cancelled if that makes sense.? :? I know what I mean. Glad you get the extra days rest.
    Wonky hope you recovering a little, more snow here just to top up everywhere again. It thaws a little and then bang down comes so more.

    Afternoon all, I've popped in for a large builders and a bucket of energy...............all decs down, place cleaned, vacuumed and dusted, had lunch - just had a jacket potato, couldn't face anything else. Just need enough energy to put the decs back in their boxes and away upstairs.

    A very satisfactory day, following an annoying afternoon and evening yesterday. I think I'm too full of potato and cheese to move far enough to finish the decs......tomorrow will do.

    Has anyone else seen the weather forecast for the end of the week? I'm going to take to my bed and not get out for about a week! I just hope they've got it wrong!

    Hi Annie, We live in the foot hills in lancashire and have had to dig our way out twice. -6 tonight! I have had a cold that just will not shift so have had a low key xmas. Got all the decs down and put away. Hubby's birthday tomorrow so wanted to make room for his cards. Bless him what a time to have a birthday. I blame his parents! Happy New Year to All. Irene XX

    A weather warning out for the SE for heavy snow maybe Thurs/Fri. They say it's early yet to decide exactly how far in it will go, but it look as if we will get it here..................I'm gonna take to drink!

    Some pasties, saffron and hevva with a bucket of cream for them that would like some.

    Will bring some mead in tomorrow, mulled and straight....... I off down to see the lights again cus well 4 days of nothing I am going!!!!!! Need to get out...... Would you all like to come?

    Ahem. Yes, please Cris, about a gallon and if it's anything like the scrumpy I had in a pub on Dartmoor, I won't [/i]care about the weather. Had a pint before going shopping and rolled, staggered and stumbled all round Tavistock!

    Cornish scrumpy is slightly more refined :wink: We do have the mulled mead in plastic cups however :lol::lol::lol: Seriously I think the farm over the back does it by post as well....... I can easily find out for sure for you? xx

    Hey Annie give me 24 hrs and I will find out for you and let you know. I am sure since you can get the Yar (and its horrible :wink: ), cream, saffron and I belive pasties you must be able to have mail order for the meadery and the cider farm.... I will let you know. The mead is lovely down Newlyn meadery :wink: xx

    Now I know what I'm having for lunch tomorrow - I'm gonna make some pasties for the freezer while I'm at it, too. I make them with a suet crust cos OH can't eat ordinary pastry and they are delicious.....OK, they're not really a Cornish pasty, more an Annie's pasty!

    I'll have a builders while I'm here...............
