    Been out for a lovely but chilly walk. It's much colder out there today than it was yesterday. We stayed dry, but I think it will rain now that we are home!

    Off out for lunch again soon...........it's a roast beef and all the trimmings day for me.

    I've just found HEDGEHOG POO in the garden

    :D

    Really, really, extremely pleased about that :)

    Been wishing for hedgehogs to turn up for a few years now .

    what does that look like do not think would know it if saw it get wild rabbits but not sure anout hedgehogs even seen a toad out there belss we quite a distance from a pond

    I'm really cheerful today in spite of the weather which is grey and miserable........a very relaxing day for me, will be going for a walk soon, we have Mandarin ducks on the river now and they look so odd mixed in with the Mallards. Going to take some photos.

    Yes me too. I had a quick peep and it made me laugh.My son was looking over my shoulder and he laughed too.

    I have been listening to my daughter skipping and singing one of those skipping songs.It is so lovely and Makes me remember my childhood and when I could skip.

    It's been a beautiful day, I've done some 'proper' gardening, had a walk by the sea and thoroughly enjoyed myself!

    My reason to be happy is my son and grandson came today and I played with grandson nearly all day.

    I'm worn out now though. They are coming again tomorrow.(We have to share with dil parents)

    It is so nice to see them.

    I'm glad to hear that you had a lovely time with your son and grandson, even if it was tiring. My 3 grand-daughters are coming to stay next week for 5 days, so that will keep me busy.

    Well. I`m not too sure about cheerful, but this has certainly had me rolling around laughing.

    The little fella from over the road came today to tell me that I had won a prize in his Sunday School raffle - the one I bought about three hundred tickets for, because I love him, and could eat him up.

    My prize.........A Max Bygraves SingalongaMax CD!! I`ll be rocking to this........Ange.

    Such a leisurely morning, in total quiet. :D:D As the day is mine I may take a wander in the sunshine , to pull up the last of the leeks at the allotment 5 minutes walk away and start on making, over 2 days, a huge cauldron full of leek soup, to freeze. :D:D

    :D:D Dug up the leeks and dug that area over. Sooooo many leeks. :D Topped and tailed them there into the compost heap. :D Will definitely make a full cauldron of soup with some left over. :D I am able to use the last of our home grown onions too, which is good as some are beginning to sprout :D Lovely sunshine, warm, blue sky and fluffy white clouds :D Can hardly believe it 8) :D

    Oooh, Elna, that soup sounds good :!: I love home-made soup, especially when you have grown the veg too.

    It's been a lovely morning here too, so opened the conservatory doors wide for the first time this year. My cat is a real sun-worshipper, and he lies on his back with his paws in the air, just soaking up all the warmth.

    Made it into the garden today for a few hours.Had to watch Daniel so he didnt wee from the top of the climbing frame! Lucy planted some sweetcorn and sunflowers and watered some flowers.

    I love leeks now but used to hate them and often have soup.It is funny how our tastes change as we get older.

    :D Hey it is nearly the weekend, hubby will be home. That is enough to make me cheerful. The sun is shining, washing will soon be on the line, still making the leek soup, will finish that this afternoon, half way through the procedure so far :D Been out this morning early and it was blissfully quiet :D

    Not sure what is planned for the weekend, perhaps a few hours with grand daughter, the allotment putting the tatties in, scraping wallpaper of the hall and landing and cleaning up afterwards, roast dinners. :D
