    Hi Elizabeth

Oh dear I thought everybody ironed. My mum instilled this in me Im afraid as she used to iron everything and work too

I was like this, and used to iron everything religiously, even though I had a full-time job. 15 to 20 shirts at a time was usual when my children were in school uniform, and my OH and me at work. My daughter is now in the same situation, with a full-time job and three children, but she has a much more sensible attitude. She buys as many non-iron things as she can, and insists that her OH does his fair share of ironing the rest.

Bonfire nights if they are made of wood. I have still seen some in shops quiete recently.

Making ski's cut the in half you have one for each leg.

Make trays a small cloth would stop any crumbs falling through the hole.

I've totally run out of ironing. :( I have tomorrow morning to iron for a good couple of hours before I go out to lunch with bruv and partner. Don't let me down, can't have Elna getting withdrawal symptoms. :D:D:D

    Hi Elna

I've had to hire a bus because the van wasn't big enough to carry all the ironing to you. It's on its way now!

    t4008.gif

I did an extra- large load of washing today with you in mind.

Happy ironing, and rather you than me :!: :!: :lol:t6003.gif

:D:D No worries, so pleased you did that Xtra large load of washing today, Joan. Hope the bus arrives here tonight, so I can begin! It has been lovely drying weather here today. 8)

    Hi Trisher

You don't have to do anything, and especially not the ironing :!: This is a club for people who hate ironing.

I'll send you a T-shirt with our slogan GO CREASED AND BE LIBERATED

Thanks for your suggestions for the redundant ironing boards :D:D

When you wash it, you screw it up and don't i*** it. Then you get rid of your i*** and i******g board.

Then you are a fully qualified member of the club :!:

I haven't done any i***ing since we moved here and not for a while before that. Now I can't find the the i***, so have put the board in the shed outside.

I LOATHE it with a vengeance!

Can I join? I know I'm a bit late, but have been unavoidably detained.
