    There's been a little setback: Lucy's temperature rose again and she has a sore throat (possibly caused by the anti-biotics she is taking). The general feeling is that they won't be able to go home today, which is disappointing, but I know they will get there at some point because they have before. DD

    She awoke in a very soggy bed due to the temperature, poor girl, but on the plus side she has nibbled some cocktail sausages and is taking all meds orally. These are both good things! :) DD

    She was due to have a CT scan to check for infection but, because her temperature has remained settled for around 48 hours, they decided not to do one. Her appetite is slowly returning, many small nibbles of things are being consumed so, hopefully, things are on the up again. DD

    Sounds as if the infection is clearing off. Hope things are good enough for Lucy and Toni to get home for the weekend. xx

    Thank you all so very much for caring about Lucy :)

    Thank you DD for updating everyone.

    We are indeed home and very happy :)

    Lucy is eating, but not as well as before this infection, but I am working on that ;)

    For now she is being given a week off treatment (though bloods will still need to be taken :roll: ) so next chemo is on Monday 22nd.

    That should be the last before maintenance
